Transmission parts/kits

Hi Guys

I'm trying to locate parts for my 722.4 transmission to do a rebuild on it, and I found I had everything in place, I went to a big online place to order parts, I put in my order, and had everything ready to go, but, my order was rejected since I'm in Canada, the sales guy even told me that they could arrange something for me, but when I called back, that has changed.

The place was egermanautoparts.com, great selection... no shipping across the border... sigh....

In any case, I'm looking for some place to source our parts for my 722.4, or even rebuild kits, I've seen them, but no luck ordering one

TIA

xp

Hey guys

I found, what seems to be a real neat place for transmission kits, and I thought I'd share it with everyone.

Here is a link

http://cobratransmission.googlepages.com/

The place is called Cobra Transmissions, and it's located in Florida. They ship everywhere, and they seem to know quite a bit about transmissions.

They don't have an online order form yet, so you have to call them up directly, but I was told it will be up shortly, and the prices are great too.

I was looking at getting all the parts for my tranny from a regular parts store, one by one, and my bill came up to $400 without any brake bands, these guys got me everything I needed along with the front brake band for $300, and they knew the differences in the transmissions based on the serial number, so right away I was told I'll need a different VB gasket for mine then what the kit comes with.

I should have all the parts next week, and I'll be starting my rebuild, I'll keep everyone posted as to how it turns out. It's a first for me, but I think I got everything I need to do it right.

xp
