Hello all, My 2001 E320 developed the classic inst cluster failure ( clock, temp and shift position) pixel failure. I bough a supposed good one off Ebay, it has the same problem as my original. Any suggestions on where to send it to be repaired, or a link to DIY repair for the cluster. I've read that the fix is pretty simple, but nobody has posted exactly what to resolder or where the failue is on the PC board. Thanks Rollin

Am fairly certain you will have to first 'wipe" the memory of the cluster and then use SDS (MB laptop) to program the car to recognize the new cluster. It is not PNP.
Palo Alto Speedometer (Calif) can do it and also repair your missing pixels. http://www.paspeedo.com/ Probably easier to just have them reapir the original as it doesnt have to be reprogramed???
