fog lights out

no replies to my other post, so I'll change the title. Thanks for any help/insight. Neither of the front fogs works on 97 w202. Bulbs and fuse replaced. What else could it be?

The right one had been working intermittently, left one not at all

When the headlight switch is on $ the knob is pulled OUT for fog lamps, fuse # 8 should have power. Does that happen?

I ran a meter on the fuse, and on the fuse block, and the fuse measured at 0.0, but the reading at the block stayed the same (.70?)

<sound of crickets chirping>

Not an expert here.....but I can find my way around with some guidance. Still looking for some direction....loose wire? Can the switch itself be bad? I am not sure where to look next.

Hi there,

I have played with the headlight assembly but found nothing much with the harness that can go wrong.

The light switch on the console would be my guess. You may want to take it out and inspect for wear.

pull off the level and losen the nut with pliers and undo the under console

Thanks
