Thanks to all contributors!!
I just finished another little job on my car thanks to the members on this board. I was able to replace my cabin blower and blower regulator thanks to members who documented and posted their experience. My blower motor was actually okay but the armature was so undercut it just didnt make sense to just replace the brushes. The real problem was the regulator though. Man why are those things so expensive? Anyway thanks again. BTW what was the small rectangular device attached to the end of a tube or wire? It looked sort of like some kind of a sensor. Now I'm off to replace my ignition tumbler. Its already out, been starting the car with a screwdriver! My advice to anyone who is beginning to have a problem with their tumbler is to replace it now before you can't turn it again.
Thanks! |

very good advice.i tell customers of mine -lets do it now before it costs a fortune when it won't turn-but only a small percentage listen.the mentality seems to be that they have fig out exactly how to jiggle it and therefore THE BIG JAM won't happen to them.history proves them wrong.
