Hello everyone I was hoping someone might be able to point me in the right direction and tell me what I need to adjust, replace or repair to get my new car running correctly. When you start it up and it is in park or neutral it has a hard time idling and it puffs out some black smoke and it has a strong smell or fuel. When I put it in any gear it will die unless I keep giving it gas. It is drivable but I would prefer not to until I find out what may be the problem. I had to drive it home and ran it like this on the freeway and it seemed to run somewhat fine. It was short on power and it would hesitate some before passing.
