Coil didnt fix problem. I also checked CPS resistance and was also in spec. I am going to order a new CPS for my 16 valve, darn things are around 300-400 I think.

Speaking of Hondas, I own 2 myself. My DD is a 97 coupe and my other toy is a 99 SI.

Just for the record, what year and engine do you have?

What's the history? When did it last run correctly? What's the situation...did it die on you, or just not start up one day? Did it not start up after you did something to it?

You mentioned that you are getting spark, hopefully the Ignition Control Module is ok, Very Very expensive part.

Check and recheck all vacuum hoses, especially the ones going to and from the Idle Control Valve. Re-check spark plug wire firing order.

After you attempt to start the engine, have you checked the spark plugs to see if they are wet with gasoline?

If the CPS is a culprit, can you tell me where the sensor is exactly and what tool did you use to unbolt it. Is it a torx or allen?

Did you get to it from underneath? I will have to remove the 16 valves skidplate?

My problem solved

Turned out to be a bad Ignition control module. I swapped it out for another ICM and car fired right up. I let it idle for 20 minutes and no stalling, hesitations or problems. Thanks to all for your input.............

YO! I have the same problem. i ahve a 96 C280 and my car cranks but no fire. Its not getting any power to the injectors. So we bought 2 ecu, OVP circuit, and a new crank sensor. So can anyone tell me what is causing my car not to get power to the injectors?
