i guess it is not for headlight level control, because the headlight control just doing fine.....

I don't recognize that part, either. It is on the side of the heater box, so perhaps it has something to do with the AC or heat.

Is there anyone there in India who is familiar with the preculiarities of the Indian versions of MBs? That might be your best bet.
