Hi,
I have this weird problem with my fuel filler flap. Usually when I open the door or unlock the door the flap is easily openable (wonder if thats a real word). This would be the normal routine....when u unlock the door all doors (doors/trunk/fuel flap) opens. Lately it refuses to open up and in order to fill gas I must manually release it via some cord in the trunk. The weird thing is sometimes it works properly and sometimes I have to manually release it. I'd say the ratio is currently 80% via the manual release way. Anyone have ideas as to what is causing this annoying problem and how to resolve it? -Reny Specs: 94 e320 sedan |

You should replace the vacuum element. IT is located on the other end of the cord you are pulling on.
