is this different from another 300ce? or just a name designation for a certain year?

The 300CE has two valves per cylinder.

The 300CE 24 has four valves per cylinder = 24 valves total = higher performance.

was this an option or did certain years come this way? someone told me the transmission is different as well

88 and 89 had the 12 valve 103 motor... after that they switched over to the 24 valve 104 motor... at least stateside..

if you get the chance and are looking for a 300CE, get the 24valve engine, it is more powerful and I feel it has better reliability, but maybe I am biased....I like it
