Estimate

Have MB give you an estimate then you can determine which way is most cost effective. If the car had a fire it is quit possible you can claim it on your insurance. Also if MB determines that the other shop's miswire caused the fire they can be held liable for their portion of the damage and your insurance company will pressure them to pay or face legal action and harmful public relations in the press and the Better Business Burough.
