Exclamation 1985 190E Electrical Help/ Relays?

I've got an 1985 MB 190E, and I'm having trouble finding a reason the radio, power seats, power mirror and fog lamps don't work. All of my fuses are ok, have power and are not blown. I'm thinking the car may have a bad relay, but I'm not sure which one runs these functions. Does someone have a wiring diagram or a fuse/relay arrangment diagram. I don't have an owners manual, and the lid for the fuse box only has reference numbers for the fuses, but nothing for the relays!?! Any help is sure appreciated.

Thanks

-Cody

Do you know all the fuses are good because you measured 12V on both sides of the fuse, or you just did a visual inspection? If the latter, then you likely missed micro-fractures in the fuse metal. Either use a meter to check, or remove the fuses to see if they fall apart.

Definately sounds like a fuse, but lets take a look at the diagrams.

Power seats have a relay in the Auxilary Relay Box, that's right next to the fuse box, small black one (please correct me if that's not right, my car came without those features) There are also two 25AMP fuses in that same box, and the relay also controls the power seats.

This relay is powered by Fuse #12 from the main fuse panel, put the power goes through the left front door switch, so if the door is opened, none of these will work, makes sense, just another item to check then. That's all I see for the Power seats and Windows.

The radio is on fuse #19 along with the moon roof, rear defogger, front cigar lighter, glove box lamp, looks like this is main power. Illumination is split from the glove box lamp power, and memory comes from Fuse #13 which is hot at all times.

Fog Lamps run off Fuse #20, which goes directly to the combination switch when the ignition is in accessory, or running. When not running, Power comes from the Exterior lamp switch, labeled S1, I'll have to check what this is, and S1 is powered from Fuse #16, However, the fog lamps themselves get direct power from Fuse #17 and #18

And S1 is located on the left side of dash panel, yea that makes sense, your main light switch.

So, looks like quite a few fuses are involved in your problem, it could be the fuse used to power the controls of all these, and not the units themselves, but then you would very likely have many other problems.

Let me see if I can include the diagram

Hope this helps
