I have a 1981 240D that I'm having a problem turning the ignition switch when I insert the key. So far I can turn the ignition back and forth and it will allow me to start it but it is getting worse. It does not want to turn out of the lock position. Has anyone had this problem before ? Is it the ignition switch or something to do with the steering lock ? I'm afraid I'm going to get stuck. thks.
