e420 engine light

Engine light just came on and the dash says check engine electronics.It is skipping at idle.When you rev it up it cleans out.It smell like raw gas though.

What year? Have you the car scanned for codes?

Doc,
He/she, has a duplicate post - In that one, the car is a 97 E420. Coil pack, maybe?

Hi There,i Went To Auto Zone And The Code Was #7 Cylinder Misfiring.is #7 Cylinder The 3rd One In On The Drivers Side? That Coil Must Be Dead?thanks Again.
