You need to connect a scanner and check for codes. There will certainly be at least one.

Yeah. no point in thowing parts at it untill you determine what set the light off. if it still runs good, it could be an air mass sensor, o2 sensor, or air injection system fault.

If you have a local Harbor Freight Tools you can pick up an inexpensive scanner. Many people on these forums get OBD II /CAN model. It normally sells for $59 in the store but if you bring in a copy of their online ad ($39) most stores will give you the lower price. The model is 94169.

Plugs in under dash next to hood release. Flip down a small cover first. Easy to use. If the post the codes you receive with it, many people here will be able to give you a pretty good idea of what the problem is. Even if you don't intend to DIY you will be more knowledgeable when dealing with the independent or dealer.

You can go to Auto Zone and they'll read codes for you for free.

Thanks RichardM98, you saved me $20. The store sale price was $59 since I brought a copy of the add they honored it. Normally the online sale items ring up at the sale price in the stores but not for the scanner.
