96 E-320 Seat Problems

Drivers side seat will only go about half way to toward the steering wheel and then stop. Just started this recently. Does anybody have a guess as to whether the problem is "motor" related or "switch" related. I guess my choices are to take the seat out or take the interior panel off. Not crazy about doing either.

Thanks for any input,

John

Suggestion:

Junk in the track is most common, coins, pens, etc..

You may need to remove the seat to clear it.

Have a great day.

Are your memory buttons functional? If not, it could be a synchronization issue. The procedure to synchronize the seats is in the owner's manual.
