For the peace of mind I just ordered an inspection by SGS for $99.50. I am curious about the results.

In this section - http://www.obdii.com/connector.html, under the section titled "What Communications Protocol...", it explains that Euro cars are ISO9141 and that such cars utilize contact pins 4,5,7,15 and 16. They make it sound like all Euro cars are ISO without exception.
