Not so sure what an ES 420 is, as that's not a Mercedes term. If it were E420S that would be a V8 station wagon, not sold in USA. Instructions are in owners manual, but surely it's easy to find the clips at the bottom front of the seat. Just lift up. That's for a sedan of course. If it's a wagon reach between seat bottom and back and rotate bottom forward.

| E 420 Rear Seat Removal

Ooops! This is not my car so l used the wrong model. It is actually a 1997 E 420 mercedes (4 door luxury sedan). The rear seat is a bench type seat which is not normally removable but I spilled a good deal of milk which got under the seat so I am trying to remove. No obvious bolts to remove or clips to press. Thanks! Bill |

W210 easy seat removal. The battery is under there. two finger latches at the bottom front corner of each side. Push them up to unlatch, I think, then the cushion will lift up and out.
