Does this sound right to you? We have a 2004 C230K that includes the *full* scheduled maintenance for 4 years or 50,000 miles. The four years will be up on April 30 of this year; the car has 28K miles on it. The FSS indicates that the car is next due for a B service in 6800 miles which I was hoping the dealer would do before the maintenance agreement expires. When I brought the car in last week for a separate issue, the service advisor told me that since my last service was a B (done in late '06 or early '07), the next one has to be an A service. I explained to him that the car indicates that its due for a B and he said that since MBUSA is paying for the service, they go by the dealer service record and wont pay for two consecutive B services. So...because I didn't take it in for an 'A' they won't do a 'B'? This makes no sense to me. FYI, I take the car to an independent MB shop every 5000mi for an oil/filter change in excess of what the FSS calls for. Has anyone heard this same story from their dealer? Is this actually MBUSA policy?
Thanks,
John
