Airbag deployment, not much of a crash
If this has been posted before, it's only for the folks who didn't see it before.

About the most obviously staged incident you'll ever see.

Airbag not deployed
my old ride (RIP), flipped over airbag not deployed. Not sure whether it had been supposed to.

I remember the photos from when it happened. Did you get a new ride yet?
I think the bumper has to impact the sensor behind it for them to deploy. Of course with the new technology and all the different airbags I'm sure there are different parameters that set them off now.

Texholdem, the air bags will only deploy if there is a frontal impact. It's hard to tell from the photo, but I see no evidence of frontal impact.
A person can have the most horrific, tumble end over end, split the car in two, accident. But if there is no substantial frontal impact, the air bags will not deploy. Interestingly, the auto manufacturers did a study on people with accidents. They found that as many people didn't have their air bags deploy when they thought they should have, as the number of people who had their air bags deploy when they thought they shouldn't have.

Do a search using his screen name under advanced search. There is a thread about the crash. He was passing and a car was turning left. I believe all 3 occupants walked away.
