If you take off your rear license plate, then take off the frame and turn it upside down and remount it, then get a pair of tin-snips and cut your license plate, it fits better, not like MB forgot all about plates when they imported them.

nick- I got the taillights off ebay. they're not exactly what I thought they'd be, like the ones I have on my 87 300D and the ones that were on my 300CD. These are ok though and i definitly didn't want the clear ones. PM me later to remind me and I can look up the seller ID when I get back home if you don't find them. I have the filler piece for mine too- in the trunk- but probably wont ever use it with these- the other option is to spray it to match the taillights, which we may do with the headlight rings. It's nice to be friends with a painter
