Preparing "Puller" tool for Timing Chain Guide removal

hello to all, I am preparing to change out the Timing chain guides on a 1991 560SEL. I purchased an excellent guide book from **************.com titled "Preventing Catastrophic V8 Engine Failure". On page 19 of the book Step Five, "Prepare your puller tool for removing the two steel pins holding each chain guide in place....." "You will need two or three different length bolts with the proper thread and a few different length spacers. The spacers must have a hole big enough for the head of the steel pin to go through it." The author did not specify the thread SIZE of the different length bolts. anyone know the size needed? Also, in reference to the spacers, where could one find those? Thanks, Husky
