I am wanting to obtain a new nylon gear for the gear assembly to my C230 mono-wiper motor other than buying a used unit that is quit possibly as bad or almost as bad as the original. MB wants $530 for a new motor. I see remanufactured units on the market so someone out there is producing new gears. If anyone out there knows where I can locate these parts you would be saving me a lot of $$$ which would be a great help. Thankyou and Godbless.
Ps: I have seen after market wiper motor assemblies, a brand called Febi. They are quit reasonably priced; however, I do not have a good feeling about the quality or fit. Has anyone out there installed one of these units? I would like to know what your opinion of the brand and the preformance of the parts. Thanks again.

I would lubricate all moving parts before installation & then continue to do so on an annual basis.

Can you post the info for the Febi wiper setup?
Some of the Febi stuff (Gaskets,suspension) is OEM supplier to Mercedes.

Website; The parts Bin; http://www.thepartsbin.com has the cheapest price that I have found so far. Currently priced at $137.95. There are two different models; check your chassis number for the correct one for your C230.

The gear at that website is for the pivot point of the wiper itself. The one I am looking for is the for the gear assembly that is attached right on the drive motor. Thanks for the info though, it will come in handy if that one breaks on me and for many others also. I think I will go ahead and order the Febi since it is so cheap, I will check for a used one first just to see the price advantage. Thanks again.
