84 190d simple a/c question
on my a/c, It is still fitted for r12, and i went to check the pressure with my gauges the other day and the pressure was so high one of the gauges burried the needle and screwed up my gauge set, but the a/c still doesent blow very cold air. I was thinking it was probably a restriction somewhere, mabey the expansion valve?, If so Is There any way to fix it or do I have to replace it..???

Are you sure that you did not have the low side and high side guages reversed? As previously requested, more info please. What wer the low AND high side pressures?
Have a great day, |
