Radiator 560SL
Inlet tube (upper) has broken off leaving a stub about an inch long. Metal reinforcment sleeve is inside broken off portion. I put another clamp at the end of the hose to stop the leaking and to keep the hose attached to inlet tube stub as a temporary fix. Can this be repaired or must radiator be replaced?

Replace it - this is not something that can be band aided and it can cause you alot of problems - $$$. Get ahold of Phil at partsshop.com for the best price.

repair radiator top tank
a good radiator shop will be able to replace the top tank for less than $100. One can also get a used radiator of course, or a new one.
'Rebuilt' radiators are advertised in THE STAR magazine for around $250 I think |
