Thought rust was mostly a 210 problem.

Saw a S430 today (NY tags) with rust bubbles all along the bottom of the door sills and the wheel arches.

Wow.

Looked like my old 116 300SD.

I wonder if these cars will rust out worse?

W210s and W220s. My tech was telling me horror stories about some W220 S-classes that were literally rusting apart. One had all four doors replaced. MB Canada covered some, others were on their own. Mercedes' rust warranty is a joke.
