More than a leak at the torque converter Help!!
In my 94 E420 I noticed smoke comming out of the back of the car. I could not figure it out so I pulled over to the side of the road and in to a gas station and Imedatly turned the car off after takeing the skid pan off I started the car up to find trans fluid leaking from the converter housing! Now I am getting worried.
My questinon is do I have to take the motor out to take the torque converter off. Or can I just drop the trans down like in an American car. I think this happened due to what manny people call a brake stand. Ill give the whole story in a nother post. Thank You any help would geatly appricated.

The trans will have to come out if it's in the front pump area, probably the front seal.
Good Luck
