noise on camshaft left cylinderbank

Hi All

Ik am new here, and from holland, I have a mercedes 350 se with a V8 engine.

I have controlled the timing chain and adjust the valves, but I have a quite noisy left cilinderbank where the oilfill is.

It ,s noise go variable if I drive the car after some minutes on highway, it sounds metalic.

The timing chain was not oke in the beginning the left bank was 24 degree off time, and now after readjustment (one tooth shift) it reads plus minus 2 degree, the right bank was oke.

Mayby someone here nows what is happening, the gliders are not worn the chain has not make it grooved, the tension is oke.

thanks
