1980 280se w126 steering
so, another issue.
there will be more to come, i promise (that's what i get for buying a benz for $1000) so, heres the scoop. when i turn my steering wheel all the way (right or left) i get a loud screeching, it sounds like a belt, but i can't be sure. any guesses? |

See if your belt is loose.

Thats the only think that would cause a screech. Also check all belts for being loose, not just the power steering belt. Also if screeching, its glazed, so it needs replaced, driven then retightened.
