Is the rear door window glass similar but different

between a 123 sedan and a 123 wagon? I bought a glass that is slightly contoured at the top toward the back where as the orig. is more of a square (with rounded corners of course) and it appears that the imprint in the bottom back corner sits up about an inch more than the others when the window is closed. Am I making any sense?

Of course the rear door glass is different between a wagon and a sedan. The doors are totally different shape.

Hey Steve, I always appreciate and value a respose from you. I may not have anywhere close to your level of knowledge re. MBZ but I'm not an idiot. I get that the doors are a diff shape but most of that difference looks to be accounted for in the small fixed window and not the roll up portion. I asked the question because I was able to measure a 300d and the windows were essentially the same width ana so I wondered if I had a sedan window by mistake.

Sorry about that, it seemed obvious to me as I knew they were different and forgot the shape. I just verified they are different numbers but you are right it isn't exactly obvious.

No harm. About everytime I get on this board I think to myself what generous people both you guys are (amongst others). There is alot of shared expertise here and it is very helpful to others. I know a little about MBs and alot about perfume (family business)
