I just bought an oem rear muffler for $120 from their ebay site and an exhaust system including rear and middle is approx $270, maybe a few$ more or less for yours with $40 shipping and just have a local mechanic put it on (cost me $25) as it should line up perfect with your type of benz, good luckmacautopartsdiscounts

Could have plugged up inside (or in the case of an old Chevy I had, on the outside of the tailpipe with ice and snow), that'll eventually make it blow apart. Man I couldn't hear very well for an hour after that happened.
