190e 2.3 Hesitation

Good day all,

I currently own a 1991 190E 2.3 with 143K miles. Problem I have is this. The car runs great on the highway, cruising right along at 70 - 80 mph no problem. But when I have to slow down to a crawl in city traffic afterward the car seems to hesitate and would almost want to choke out and die. Hesitates and seems to be running on only 3 cylinders. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance

Have you done any work with the secondary ignition system?

Plugs, wires, cap & rotor?
