i own a 93' 500e, i finaly brought it to the shop to be repaired. i am being told that the radiator is no good(good news) and the wireing harness is shot. i was haveing a problem with even the key off the check engine light was staying on.

how expensive are the harnesses and where can i get them and same goes with the radiator

All help appriatated!!!

On the radiator, I have quickly searched and found prices from $238 to about $350. On the wiring harness, I have no idea. I cannot seem to find an online parts store that carries an engine wiring harness for a '93 500E. Maybe someone else can shed some light

For what it's worth, the harness on my E320 is about $906.00...

Wiring harness should be about $500 with a little shopping. You can put it in yourself in an hour or two.

...you can also install the radiator in about the same amount of time.

I'm not sure how long you've owned an MB, but you may want to hang around this forum, buy a repair manual or CD, and consider learning how to wrench on your car yourself. These cars are kinda old now, and labor will destroy your disposable income in short order if you have to farm out all of your repairs...especially with a hot rod like the 500E!
