On most modern benzes it's replaceable, and cost is about a dollar. Hope you're this lucky!

420benz,
If your radiator neck is like most of the other models it is not repairable. Rebuilt radiators can be purchased at Reseda Radiator in Reseda, CA (818) 342-5154 very inexpensively. I had to replace my radiator for the same reason. The charge was $100. plus a core charge of $75 refunded when you send your old one back to them. Of course, this was a different model and the price may be a little different for yours. John CH |

If it's the 90 degree, small elbow that connects the smallish hose from the radiator back to the expansion tank, then it's replaceable, no?
If not, I apologize in advance for my poor advice
