W124 Ball joint installation

Can somebody tell (or show) me what the mark on the control arm looks like for lining up the notch in the ball joint?
Thanks.

The C shaped notch faces inwards as the retaining bolt will have to slide past it to fit in. If you swing up the lower control arm and insert the balljoint shaft into that knuckle, you won't be able to slide in the retaining bolt unless the notch is facing the correct direction which is inward. You may have to withdraw the shaft and rotate left or right with a plier a few times until bolt can get in.

Thanks, but I'm referring to the notch in the base of the ball joint that has to be lined up properly where it's pressed into the control arm.
