W124 diff swap?

Hello.
I have a 1994 W124 E220 Auto and I was wondering if putting in a E220 Manual diff of the same vintage would be a straight swap? The E220 Manual diff has a larger ratio and that really helps my town driving (what I do most) since the little engine has next to no torque with AC on low in the rev range..

Cheers
Jeff

Shouldn't be any problem except for the speedo being off.

Cheers. Is there a way to correct the speedo?
