W126 Brakes

Another issue on my car is something happening now with the brakes. A yr ago the pads were replaced after noticing NO brake dust build up on any of the rims...which was good but I know it shouldnt be happening. Those pads were basically new at the time but they became "glazed" I was told. They were replaced and the braking was never that good even before getting replaced but I did have brake dust forming now. Its been a year and the brakes seem to be getting worse...the system was also bled.

When you hit the pedal it seems to be too hard and the stops arent "rough" at all.....they are too smooth. On panic stops IMO the car should not gently roll to a stop...it should be hard and necksnapping. Pedal travel is not far enough...its very stiff.

I have a parts car which the complete braking system but I want to know first what could be wrong before I start replacing.

Thanks alot.

Sounds like your vacuum booster has a leak and you are running with no assist. Does this car have anti-lock brakes? If so, does it engage at all?
