yes, some years it was labeled R instead of 0, other years had both a a R and 0 button.

Angry Service B

I followed the proceedure in the owner's manual. It was outlined as follows:

Turn key to number 1 position
call up the trip/main odometer
press up or down buttons on steering whell until service b message appears
press r button for approx. 2 seconds
It should then show "Do you want to reset service interval?"
confirm by pressing r
push r button again to reset


IT DID NOT WORK

So much for the service manual

Oftentimes it takes more than one try....

Is that the original manual for the car? I thought that method of resetting it didnt come into play for at least another model year or so.

I suppose if all else fails you could visit your MB SA and ask them to show you how it works......
