put 380se in park while waiting for a train to go by...

idle was a little funky... nothing serious, but seemed to miss a beat from time to time..

Put tranny into drive with foot on brake.. Idle was smooth...

Any clues?

Mine does that too. Sometimes it misses, sometimes it wavers up and down between 500 and 800 rpm. I read of someone else having the unsteady idle problem, and the culprit was a bad ECU.
