I want to remove my front bumper and replace the chrome on my 1989 560SEL. Has anyone done this in here? Is bumper removal difficult?

Bumper removal won't be the hard part. If the bolts holding the chrome pieces on are rusted, you're going to have some fun. Getting everything lined up to go back together will also try your patience.
