It took several tries before it passed, but remember, it wasn't running when we bought it. It had not been driven for about 3 years.
There were quite a few small things wrong with it, plus it needed a rebuilt fuel distributor and a front catalytic converter.
The smog numbers were:
%CO2: 14.7 %O2: 0.0
HC: 40 (102 allowed)
CO: 0.01 (.68 allowed)
NO: 26 (748 allowed)
Pretty good numbers, especially considering the car's history!
The total investment is now about $2,000, and it's registered and running great. There really doesn't seem to be too much else wrong with it.
