S class Trunk Lid - PeachParts Mercedes-Benz Forum

I just noticed that my wife's 1993 400E has a liner inside the trunk lid, I guess to keep noise out of the car. My 1990 300SE doesn't have one, just metal on the inside of the trunk lid. Is mine missing something? Thanks

1991 420 SEL, no liner or signs that there ever was one (adhesisive residue)

My 91 300SE has no liner. It might be a trim or aesthetic thing since the 126 trunk lid only goes up so high while the 124 trunk lid goes pretty much vertical.
