1992 400E auxiliary fan
Hey guys , and ladies in attendance,
Good evening. I have a question that maybe a few of you can answer for me; yesterday my auxiliary fan stopped working even though I can hear the relay click when the temperature is high enough to turn it on. The fuse box says on the chart that there is an outside fuse for it but I haven't been able to locate it. Thanks for any help you might be able to give me. P.S. I bypassed the switch on the dryer to make sure that wasn't the reason for the failure. |

There are two fuses. One on top of the relay that is updated to a 20A and one 7.5 on some cars outside the box in a single fuse holder located just beside the driver's strut tower.

Also check the resistor which (I am pretty sure it has one) is probably hidden in the area of the drier and abs unit.
