seat switch wood trim

I will be replacing the left front seat switch on my '94 s320 soon and I am wondering just how to carefully remove the wood trim with out scratching or breaking it. the switch should not be a problem just three screws. Thanks.

THe panel has two small swivels at the rear, that have to be rotaded down. A feeler guage a smsll spatula etc. run it down the back of the panel. when re-installing pivot them back out, the front is held by a spring (leaf)
The door check section will help
