Glow plug light stays on
The glow plug light on my 1995 E300D stays on for a few minutes after the car starts or sporadically pops on while driving. New glow plugs? New glow plug regulator? How expensive? How involved?

Sounds like glow plugs
Try changing No 1 plug first, as this is the easiest. If its one of the others, you have to take your inlet manifold off, about 2 to 3 hours work. Hope its No 1!!!
