Classic Merdcedes horn in a '94 c280?

All right I have only owned this car for a short time but this horn has to go! Can I switch in a horn from a w126 era? The stock horn sounds too ordinary, kind of lame for Mercedes, I want to hear yhat classic sound! Thanks.

What does the classic mercedes horn sound like? My W126's horn sounds pretty basic.

That's the sound. Listen to a newer MB and you will hear the difference.

I was told that all car horns are in the key of "F"

You know you can get a Titanic horn (you'll need a trailer for it) somewhere like JC Whitney. I always thought that that, along with a locomotive's cow catcher welded to the front would be the ultimate commuter tools - especially around Atlanta

I used to have Hella Twin-Tone Dual Trumpet compressor horns on my Supra...it used to scare the HELL out of people when I would honk at them. It was kinda funny to see them jump, and then get really mad at me. hehe

I just got sick of people not even acknowledging that I was there when I would honk. They seem to think that if they ignore you, you'll go away. Little did they know...hehehehe

Sadly the compressor went bad, and I have yet to install a new one. :[
