W140 ABS/ASR lights problem solved, easily!!!!
Well, I posted a thread to request help about having both the ABS/ASR light coming on suddenly while being on a traffic jam.
Although I bought the infamous Brake Light Switch, it did actually need no replacement. My tech search for codes and nothing came up. He doubted it would be Brake Light Switch because Fuse No. 23 will blown every time the brake pedal was pressed. So, he assumed a problem with the third brake light. Which it actually was. Being stopped at the traffic jam with the brake pedal pressed and brake lights on caused the H1 bulb to melt at the base and create a ground, hence causing Fuse No. 23 to blow. When fuse 23 blows it causes the ABS/ASR lights to come on, as no electric power is fed to the systems. The H1 bulb was replaced along with the fuse and everything went back to normal, no ABS/ASR lights.
