Among other things that really shows how nice an early 300E can look with good monochromatic paint.

Now about my 300e w124, my 1990 was in great condition when purchased in2002 and it still looks, feels, and drives like new and only had a few problems like exhaust, heater blower, dist cap/rotor so the car has been fantastic.

The 1992 300e that I bought for my wife which needed some work done when purchased has been a real pain. I now know that this car was not well maintained. It has had one failure after another since I bought it. To make matters worse it has rust everywhere even though it looked great when I bought it.

These cars are great, I suggest you buy one from someone who has taken proper care of it. Have it completely inspected and it will save you money.

I'm not happy with the fuel economy but it's a rather heavy, safe car and you get what you pay for in that respect.

Good luck
