leak in main seal in w124, use liquid gasket?
Can I get away with using liquid gasket on a main seal repair to avoid dropping the trannie for to long and not mix the flywheels?

Why are you referring to more than one flywheel? Are you trying to do a flywheel swap?
As for the question about liquid gasket, it won't work. You have to replace the seal.
