560 SEC dont start anymore

Everything was ok, came home for lunch, got back into the car and...nothing. All the accesories work, I turn the key and nothing happend. There is a "cliking" sound comming from a black box on the inside of the driver side's fender. Nothing else to report and no previous symptoms of failure.

Tried to boost the car without results

Battery problem? Starter? any fail-safe device on the car that send a wrong signal?

I would appreciate any suggestions

I looked at the first 10 pages of questions and didnt find anything relating to this particular problem.
