Means...

I put the red tester point on the yellow wire and the black tester point on metal next to the shock tower. I get a reading on yellow. I put the red test point on the red wire and put the black test point on the shock tower metal and nothing.

I get nothing at all out of putting the red and black tester pointer on black 3 wire connector and either yellow or red and the 3 wire connector.

HUH ????

Red and Blk test leads on blk?

Why would you do thaat ??

Please , just do what I ask ...nothing else..I have your schematic up on the wall.

I want

A reading from red to blk @ connector.
A reading from red to ground
A reading from yl to bk.
A reading from yl to ground.

I believe you have no ground at bk, and these test will tell me that .

Is the F15 on the...

Is the F15 on the passenger side and covered with a clear plastic clip? Or is it the one I put the 50 amp fuse on?

No dude I am not that stupid....

If i did that the blower wouldnt have been blowing full speed. I did all the test as told. Now the test results are...

When I put the red tester probe on either side and the black tester probe on metal. It reads 7. If I touch the tester to both sides the black on one and the red on the other nothing....

Ok Dude..

>
I do not want the leads across the fuse , I want the reading on the Input side of the fuse holder and I want the reading of the output side of the fuse holder...see? This is what you have done in the first part, but we should have 12v there.
You will never get a voltage reading Across a fuse...

So, do it again.. put the red lead on each side of the fuse with the key ON and the black lead of your tester to a good ground [ that tower metal you have been using is fine]. If you do not get 12V [ battery voltage ] here , we have a feed problem from the ign switch..or a bad ground.
So, get me those redings and if they are still 7v , flip the key a few tines and retry the same test.

On both sides I get

I get just above 6 on both sides....of the fuse. I have the meter set on DC up to 50 volts. Am I doing this right? I dont understand how the blower could be full blast if the current coming into it is a problem. I am thinking maybe the blue wire is grounded somehow at the motor.

I am not a mechanic, what I do for a living I am very good at...this isnt something I know or enjoy doing.

OK..you are doing fine..

We are almost there.

The suspect is the W1 ground wire behind the inst cluster, but more on that later.

We have to first verify why we are gettng 6v at that fuse...so, I want you to leave your meter at the same settings/range as when you get that 6v and go put it accross your battery [ +/- ] and see what it says...OK?

...and then I want you to try the fuse again, but with a dufferent ground spot....like the engine

OK dont it and

OK the test on the battery is right at 7, and the fuse is also 7. So that means I been reading the meter wrong and they are both 12v right?

That's what I thought.

Just to make sure the battery is not that low , try to start the car...it will not start unless you have 12 v.

Thy it with the headlamps on just for extra draw.

Battery is not low. So that means I am getting power to the fuse, but not power out of the interior of the car from the 3 wire connector. I tested those wires and got no reading. So what do you think?

Is that an analog meter..?? you may be thinking that each line is a volt, but it might be 2 ...anyway...here is the most important test , so read it over.

I want the red lead from you meter to go to the fuse [ 50A] , either side, and go to ground with blk lead to get a reading...now, Take the black lead that you grounded for that reading and move it over to the BLK terminal at that 3 wire X64 plug. That shoud give you the same reading as you had from the fuse when you went to the tower ground..if NO, then that BLK is not grounding in the car.. That is ground W1 and it is right behind the CP ..

Do you know how to use the meter on the OHMS scale?

PS ..I am assuming you have the 3 wire connector plugged in.
